I’ve been an emergency planner for the federal government for the last five years. I’ve worked in business continuity, occupant emergency planning, OSHA compliance, and pandemic planning. I’ve had the opportunity to present on the topic of personal and family preparedness many times at several different agencies over these past few years. In today’s world, now more than ever, I’ve had an overwhelming flood of questions, concerns, and comments following every presentation. Typically, there will be a line of folks waiting to talk afterwards as well as countless emails. These repeated inquiries, which often have similar questions and topics, are what led me to creaet this blog. If you are interested, take a look and follow the blog. If you have friends or family that are also interested in emergency preparedness or whom you would like to motivate regarding personal preparedness, please send them the link.
This is my way of thinking. This is a part of my life. This is my passion. More than anything I want to share with you what I know and what I’ve learned. I want to motivate you to PREPARE. I want to find a way to give you the same spark and drive that burns within me.
So let’s talk and share. Let’s learn from one another. Let’s not be afraid. Instead, let’s get ready!
